Production Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Production Cleaning Operative to work within the Mattress Department, Leeds.

The Production Cleaning Operative will ensure the efficient daily running of the waste disposal, recycling and housekeeping within the mattress department.

Hours:                                   Monday - Thursday, 6am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the factory is clean and housekeeping is up-to-date
• Ensuring housekeeping is carried out to the correct standards throughout the department
• Ensuring walkways, fire exits and access to fire extinguishers are clear
• Emptying waste bins
• Transferring, separating and measuring waste
• Working to increase the quantity of waste that can be recycled
• Liaising with other departments to overcome any waste issues that may arise
