Process Operative

We are seeking Process Operatives to work within the Mattress Department, Leeds.

The successful candidates will ensure that mattresses are produced to the correct specification & check for any flaws.

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am – 4pm

The Process Operative will have a hands-on approach to production issues and proactive at sourcing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the finished products are in line with the overall quality criteria.
• All tools & machinery are maintained and used correctly.
• Health & Safety guidelines are always followed.
• Reading production tickets to ensure each unit has the correct border/panels.
• Using handheld terminals to scan the finished product.
• Meeting production targets

• Enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis to all requests, both internal and external.
• Ability to self-manage your time during the working day.
• Attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and prioritise workload to deliver expectations and tasks.
• Excellent communication skills
