We are seeking a Process Operative to join the Weaving Department, based in our Head Office site, the Innovation Centre, Beeston Leeds.
Hiring Manager: Matthew Butler – Textiles Production Manager
Hours: Monday – Wednesday 6am – 6pm and Thursday 6am – 12pm.
Reporting into the Weaving Manager, the process Operative will be fully trained in-house on all
aspects of the Weaving role with opportunities to progress.
Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the efficient running of all looms within the weaving department by ensuring that
the looms are only operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment
Oversee deliveries received into the department
Assist in the maintenance of cleaning the shop floor
Assist with working on take-offs for the Sanforiser
Carry our routine tests of the boiler on the Sanforiser
Maintain the Yarn stock, replenishing stock that is low
Any other duties deemed necessary.
