About The Role

 

Vehicle Technician

The successful vehicle Technician will be working as part of the on site workshop. They will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models ranging from classic cars through to prestige brands. The position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and be committed to delivering high quality work within the required time frame.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and carry out repairs and service of vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Ensure all work is performed accurately & efficiently to manufacture standards
  • Maintain communication with the service dept regarding progress
  • Work within the company health & safety guidelines
  • Conduct MOTs (if qualified) and routine safety checks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 40 per week

Monday to Friday 8.00 – 16.30

About You

  • You will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs working across multiple brands including prestige
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment, multitask and use their own initiative.
  • Relevant experience in vehicle diagnostics
  • Ability to use the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Take pride in your work - right first time repairs
  • Relevant NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • MOT licence would be an advantage
  • Full clean UK driving Licence (Minimal points will be considered)
  • Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and be a team player
