About The Role

We are recruiting 2 x Quality Control Operatives to join our Quality Team based in Beeston, Leeds.

The Quality Control Operatives will provide a proactive and methodical approach to resolving production issues, ensuring all products are manufactured in accordance with defined quality standards, approved materials, and agreed specifications.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6am – 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor quality of products within different departments of the beds business to ensure all quality standard and procedures are being correctly adhered to.
  • Working towards achieving a 98% right first-time target across all production functions and pushing for higher.
  • Identify, record, and report defects or non‑conformances in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all quality documents are maintained to a high standard.
  • Promote continuous improvement by conducting root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Making quality part of our values by creating a positive quality driven culture.
  • Provide all operatives and line managers with quality and technical support.

About You

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Methodical approach.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with production teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality‑related role is beneficial but not always essential.
  • Knowledge of quality control tools, inspection methods, or ISO standards is an advantage.
  • Basic IT skills for completing digital records and report.
