We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Stock Controller to join our Internal Supply Chain team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting smooth operational flow, and ensuring our systems and processes run efficiently.
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6.00am – 4.00pm
Based in Beeston, Leeds - This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys problem‑solving, improving processes, and working closely with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Stock Counts - Complete daily raw material stock counts in line with the rota, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Variance Investigation - Investigate stock anomalies, identify root causes, and report findings to Finance and the Internal Supply Chain Manager.
- Data & Reporting - Analyse daily stock count variances, log findings, record containments and countermeasures, and produce weekly Pareto‑based variance reports.
- Finished Goods Control - Manage Finished Goods Warehouse stock integrity, resolving duplicate or cancelled orders and ensuring system alignment.
- Stock‑Out Monitoring - Monitor stock‑out reports, investigate discrepancies, correct system errors, and support prompt invoicing and backflushing.
- Systems Alignment - Support the Specs Team by identifying and reporting system misalignments affecting stock accuracy.
- Invoice Support - Act as first point of contact for the Invoice Team, resolving stock‑related obstructions that delay sales order invoicing.
- Continuous Improvement - Drive practical improvements in storage, 5S, labelling, signage, and stock organisation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Cross‑Department Support - Provide stock‑related support to Goods In, Internal Logistics, Production, and other operational teams.
- Stock Take Coordination - Organise and participate in periodic stock takes, preparing accurate count sheets and ensuring conversion sheets are up to date.
- Document Control - Maintain and update requisition forms and controlled documents, distributing revised versions to relevant departments.
- Training Support - Support training and onboarding of new and existing colleagues in stock processes and system usage.
