Warehouse Operative - PM Shift

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the team on the PM shift. 

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties, such as loading vehicles in a safe, organised and timely manner and ensuring Mattress bays are kept clear.

Hours:                                 Mon – Thurs 1.30pm – 9.45pm and Friday 12pm – 7pm

Location:                            Westland Road, Beeston Leeds. LS11 5SB

Key Responsibilities:

• Transferring finished products from the factory floor, storing them in the correct bay location.
• To ensure products are handled with upmost care and attention and reporting in the first instance any quality issues
• Ensure items are moved, loaded or stored are all scanned in real time, located correctly and accurately
• Loading vehicles with products for the next day's delivery
• Using a scanning system to locate products
• General housekeeping

Skills & Experience Required:

• Great position for someone wanting to start or continue their career in a busy manufacturing environment.
• The role will be extremely varied and fast paced with heavy handling.
• You'll work as part of a team with support from a cross section of departments as well as opportunities for training and development.
• Warehouse experience preferable.
• Comfortable with manual handling although full training will be given.
• Good communication skills.
