About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Internal Transfer Driver to join the team based in Beeston, Leeds.

Reporting into the Internal Supply Chain Manager, the Internal Transfer Driver will ensure the smooth running of our internal supply chain by efficient transfer of products from site to site.

This may include the delivery of internal components to external customers within the local area.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6am – 4pm

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Work to a schedule in line with fluctuating demand, whilst managing your own time.
  • To organise and plan storage areas for components awaiting transfer.
  • To aid with stock control and help to ensure adequate reserves.
  • To operate a counterbalance FLT safely and in accordance with Company policies.
  • Safe driving of light commercial vehicles (category B licence) in accordance with the law and Company procedures.
  • Any reasonable ad-hoc requests such as Farm trips, Distribution Centre, Lab support, prototypes etc
  • To take responsibility for the daily safety of the vehicle that you are allocated.
  • Strive to achieve targets set.

  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis to all requests, both internal and external.
  • Ability to self-manage your time during the working day.
  • Impeccable time keeping.
  • Willing to go the extra mile
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and work under pressure.
  • You will ensure transfers and requisitions are completed on time in full, reporting problems and any deviations in standard
  • React to internal customer needs to prevent risk of running low with stock
  •  FLT licence – Essential
  • Class 2 Driving Licence– Essential
