About The Role

Working in partnership with the Warehouse and Transport Manager the Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that customer deliveries are prepared for dispatch to a high standard, in line with the delivery schedule.

As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in resolving issues for both internal and external customers quickly and professionally. You’ll take ownership of maintaining high standards of stock accuracy and warehouse organisation, ensuring we consistently meet customer requirements on time and in full.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6.00am – 4.00pm

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll guide and motivate the team by setting a strong example every day.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, including completing monthly risk assessments.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispatch of all deliveries in line with daily and weekly schedules.
  • Take ownership of warehouse stock, ensuring all internal and external requirements are met.
  • Lead quarterly stock takes and investigate any loading issues or delivery failures.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to execute the loading plan effectively.
  • Manage customer requests and support both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support absence management and Return to Work processes within the transport team.
  • Partner with the Warehouse & Transport Manager on performance reviews and team development.
  • Monitor and report key operational data on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the export team to ensure smooth loading of pallets and containers.
  • Work with the returns team to manage old stock through the correct channels.
  • Carry out additional duties as required to support warehouse operations.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Proven experience supervising a small team and effectively allocating resources.
  • Decision‑making skills, especially in fast‑paced environments.
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify and drive improvements.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues.
  • Good numeracy skills and strong IT capability, including Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and process optimisation.
  • Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining accuracy and clear judgement.
